Fascinated by the work of Mark Rothko, Francesc Rifé has designed for NOW Carpets KO, a collection of rugs with a geometric patterns based on Abstract Expressionism. The result is the five canvases made in 100% bamboo silk that gather the sensitivity of pastel tones, the intensity of warm colors and the melancholy of dark effects. Rothko’s paintings were the starting point to apply the combination of colors and the exploration of light in depth. A collection with a strong presence of geometric lines, hand-woven by craftsmen.
